Oakland has seen small and black-owned businesses quickly disappear as the construction of luxury apartment buildings and trendy shops take their place. In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, artwork emerged around the area of the protests. My initial goal was to document the artwork as it stood, but as I observed I realized that they were not just murals but calls for change and I pivoted to capture the intricate work and the buildings they were on . . . Berkeley Video Helps National Parks Event Branch Out
UC Berkeley is supposed to be quiet on the week of Spring Break as students leave campus to take a well deserved break. However for a three day event named “Science for Parks, Parks for Science”, professors, academics, and great minds came from all over to gather here at UC Berkeley to think and speak on key issues concerning National Parks.
This event was hosted by the College of Natural Resources(link is external) with National Geographic(link is external), The National Parks Service(link is external) and KQED(link is external). ETS played a key part in making sure presenters had technology support to share their groundbreaking work with the world. The hard work of a team of 12+ technology experts contributed to the overall success of the three-day event. . . (Read More)
